About
One in Eight – Installation presents ten photographic works that bring together personal perspectives on breast cancer. They were selected from more than 1,000 submissions to a worldwide Open Call initiated by Fotografiska and the Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign, and approach diagnosis and treatment, physical change and loss alongside care, closeness and everyday life through documentary photography, portraits and conceptual work. Fotografiska curated the installation with Estée Lauder Companies, VOGUE Germany, dasBuusenkollektiv, the Swedish Breast Cancer Association, the Austrian Cancer Aid, Look Good Feel Better Switzerland and the selected artists. It can be visited on the third floor with a museum ticket.
