About
Rumpelstilzchen is a participatory fairy tale show for the whole family at the Galli Theater Berlin. The piece was written by Johannes Galli with music by Michael Summ, and Marion Martinez performs it single-handed, telling the story while slipping into every character. It follows a miller who claims his daughter can spin straw into gold: the king takes the girl away, and Rumpelstilzchen helps her, only to return a year later demanding the queen's first child as its reward. Children join in the action and call out their ideas, which the actress spontaneously folds into the story.
