About
"Schwarze Löcher" is a planetarium show about black holes, presented with a live host. It was produced by the Spanish company Double Dome Films and is screened in the planetarium hall of the Archenhold-Sternwarte observatory. Unique visualisations explain where and how black holes form, what makes them extraordinary and how scientists can research them. The programme also features the first high-resolution image of a black hole, released in 2019 from data gathered by the worldwide network of radio telescopes known as the Event Horizon Telescope.
