Silent Reading Party

At the Silent Reading Party, people read together in silence – each with their own book, yet all together. The salon becomes one giant living room: bring cushions, a blanket, snacks and your favourite book. The book-club event is hosted by the ZLB, which also provides the novel „Zwischen uns liegt August“ by Fikri Anıl Altıntaş, co-winner of the 2026 Robert Gernhardt Prize. Books can also be borrowed from the shelves; no registration is needed.
