About
A concert evening with two acts in the Kuppelhalle of the silent green Kulturquartier. Superfan is the musical project of Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Kali Priya Flanagan, whose raw, magnetic pop sound is shaped by ambitious string arrangements created with cellist Omeed Almassi; since signing with London label AD93, the project swaps direct storytelling for fragmentary, impressionistic lyricism. Coals, aka Kacha and Lucassi, are a duo moving between dream pop, ambient, R&B, trap and electronic music, describing their sound as cold, emotional and eclectic pop. The duo emerged from home recordings on YouTube and recently released the album Sanatorium (2024).
