Symphonie
Theater Strahl, Ostkreuz, Marktstraße 9-12 10317 Berlin, Rummelsburg
About
"Symphonie" is an interactive theatre piece in which up to 60 participants sit in a circle around a conductor's podium and play Mozart's Symphony No. 40 with digital string instruments. Three performers lead the situation of an orchestra rehearsal. What begins harmlessly increasingly reveals (racist) discrimination, exclusion and bullying. It asks questions such as: who gets a voice, who is excluded, and when do we resist?
