About

Tekkeikan Juniors is a kendo programme for children and young people aged 12 to 18. It is run by Tekkeikan, the OSC Berlin, where experienced instructors such as Michaela Brzezinka (5th Dan) teach. The beginners' course covers basic techniques with the bamboo sword (shinai) as well as posture, discipline, respect and team spirit. After a joint warm-up, there are partner exercises and small competitions.
