About

"The field" is a dance theatre piece conceived as a danced playing field. In it, children and young people of the DOCKeleven Junior Company explore social interaction, between individuality and belonging as well as external and self-determination. The body becomes a terrain for experimentation, a place of limits, decisions, resistance and contact. Artistic direction and choreography are by Lisa Oettinghaus, with choreographic collaboration by Amr Karkout and workshops by Amr Karkout and Ivan Estegneev.
