About

An overview tour of the special exhibition "Horizontal. Das Krankenbett und die Welt im Liegen" (The Hospital Bed and the World while Lying Down) at the Berlin Museum of Medical History at the Charité. The museum explores with visitors how lying down changes perception, bodily experience and social relationships, and shows through historical objects, artworks and personal stories how ideas of illness, care and healing have changed. The tour lasts 60 minutes, is limited to 25 participants and requires registration.
