"Watcher on the Hills" is a solo performance about what goes on inside a person today: fighting, longing for something, feeling trapped, being uncertain and still carrying on. States and events that might stretch over days, weeks or months are condensed into a single sequence, as the pressure of everyday life turns inward. The performance was developed for a dance studio and a very small audience: there is no classic stage and no fixed viewpoint, the audience sits in the middle of the performance space while the performer moves between and around the spectators.
