About
The exhibition “Wohnen in Berlin” looks at the history and present of housing and examines the mechanisms of the housing market and how politics regulates it. It is an exhibition by the Berlin state agency for political education. It tells of political and partly violent conflicts that housing has triggered in Berlin, asks questions such as what housing as a human right concretely means, and explains the difference between housing cooperatives and housing companies. It also dares to look into the future of housing.
