Zu Hause, Zu Gast – Sowjetisch-Jüdische Diaspora erzählt in Film und Text

Kino Krokodil hosts a reading, a screening and a conversation. Anna Schapiro reads from her debut novel, after which Evgenia Gostrer's documentary animated film KIRSCHKNOCHEN is shown, followed by a moderated conversation between the two. The event deals with Soviet-Jewish family history, migration and memory. It is organized by a student initiative of the Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf on the occasion of the 2026 Educational and Action Weeks against Antisemitism.
