About
The Alpha Course is a series of relaxed evenings where anyone can explore life's big questions and the Christian faith. It is run by St James the Less church in Pimlico, and each session starts with food, followed by a video and short talk, then a small-group discussion with no pressure and no charge. Over eight weekly Thursday sessions, the talks cover topics such as who Jesus is, why he died, how to pray, and how God guides one's life, with a day away between weeks five and seven on the Holy Spirit. The course takes place two or three times a year in the St James the Less Centre, and anyone is welcome to come along.
