Assemble - Portfolio Development Project is a four-week Saturday programme at Ravensbourne University London where participants aged 16+ develop and build a portfolio or showreel for university applications to creative courses such as fashion, photography, games and animation, architecture, design and film. The university runs it with tutors and current students, and it particularly supports learners who may face barriers to education, such as first-generation students, carers, disabled and neurodivergent people, and those from low-income backgrounds. Sessions cover research and ideation, prototyping and experimentation, making and refining, and presenting and feedback. No equipment is needed and the project is free of charge.
