About
Balance is a contemporary circus and physical theatre show in which two performers turn a cellar full of beer kegs, bottles and planks into an acrobatic playground. It is created, co-produced and performed by the duo ich-duO, Jared and Toffy, with music curated by the pair. The show pairs gravity-defying hand-to-hand acrobatics with the tension of balancing on glass, exploring trust and the joy of finding a partner to help carry the load. Visually stunning, funny and full of heart, it also carries subtle environmental themes through its repurposing of everyday discarded objects.
