About
Balladeste is a live concert in which the duo launch their new album Imprints with an immersive in-the-round performance. Balladeste is a long-term collaboration between Preetha Narayanan (violin) and Tara Franks (cello), whose richly textured instrumental music is shaped by contemporary classical, Indian classical, baroque and folk. For this performance they are joined by guest artists Fred Thomas, Tullis Rennie, Debasmita Bhattacharya and Lucine Musaelian, and the night opens with a set from composer, producer and DJ Gabriel Prokofiev, founder of Nonclassical.
