Barrel Store Sessions is a regular Thursday class in a Filipino martial art, held at Hackney Church Brew Co. It was developed by Paul Dee and focuses on defence-focused self-protection. The training covers instinctive, fluid movement under pressure, empty-hand work and weapon training with sticks, blades and improvised tools, plus striking, speed, flexibility and strength development. It aims to build awareness of yourself and your environment and practical responses to real-world threats, running from 6pm to 7.30pm for £20 per person, cash only.
