Count Jaakola + Alice Hubble + Basic Design
Betsey Trotwood, Farringdon Road 56, EC1R 3BL London, Clerkenwell
About
An evening of electronic and DIY pop at the pub venue The Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon. The show celebrates the launch of two new Count Jaakola remixes by Alice Hubble and Basic Design, with all three acts performing together. Count Jaakola is the solo project of London-based Finnish songwriter Tiia Jaakola, whose lush DIY pop is joined live by Paul Rains and Sarah Gonputh. Alice Hubble mixes melancholic pop and layered vintage synths, while Basic Design, Matt Ashton of The Leaf Library, plays minimal, beat-driven synth music in his first live show under that name.
