About
DIRECTOR'S SELECTION | October 2026 is a group exhibition of largely South African artists running at the Everard Read gallery in London. The gallery presents artists with diverse backgrounds who share a commitment to contemporary storytelling and craft. The artworks grapple with contradiction, spirituality, and the natural world, with artists confronting the dichotomies around us through figuration and abstraction, blending humour and sensitivity. Featured names include Shany van den Berg, Aron Demetz, Deborah Bell, Alessandro Papetti, Norman Catherine, Lucinda Muge, Ricky Burnett, Maja Marx and John Murray.
