About
The horror film Dracula, restored by Hammer Films and Kaleidoscope Entertainment in partnership with Warner Bros, directed by Terence Fisher and starring Christopher Lee, Michael Gough, Melissa Stribling and Peter Cushing. After Jonathan Harker attacks Dracula at his castle, the vampire travels to a nearby city, where he preys on the family of Harker's fiancée. The only one who may be able to protect them is Dr. van Helsing, Harker's friend and fellow-student of vampires, determined to destroy Dracula whatever the cost. The restoration reinstates footage believed missing for more than six decades, previously seen only at the film's original Japanese theatrical release in 1958.

Critics
8.9Outstanding
Critics praise Christopher Lee's imposing Count, Peter Cushing's Van Helsing, the vivid Technicolor look, sensual atmosphere and tight pacing. Faults mentioned: a talky, at times slow story and liberties taken with the novel.
