About
Rock & Robots 37 is a Halloween night combining live antweight robot fighting with live music, hosted by Eli Gumble. Robots weighing up to 150g battle in a purpose-built arena, with around 50 tactical, fast-paced fights, an open arena to try a robot yourself, and live battle music from drummer Shymanic. The bill includes Adam From Radarbase's electronic cyber punk dance anthems and Anserine, a queer, all-POC alternative/punk band blending emo, indie-rock, shoegaze and metal. Singer-songwriter and host Eli Gumble plays original songs compared to George Formby, Jay Foreman, David Byrne and Monty Python, dipping into his darker material for the occasion, with an open after-party following.
