About
A weekend art history course at the Royal Academy of Arts exploring Impressionism, the movement that changed Western art from 1874 onwards. Talks led by academics, curators and art-world professionals trace the roots of artists such as Manet, Monet, Morisot, Degas and Renoir and their far-reaching influence, drawing on the exhibition Painting the French Riviera. No prior knowledge is needed, only curiosity, and debate is encouraged.
