About
An evening of jazz by the Leo Richardson Quartet at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. London-based saxophonist Leo Richardson leads a high-octane quartet with Rick Simpson on piano, Dave Whitford on double bass and Tim Giles on drums, playing entirely original music rooted in contemporary hard bop. Their sets draw on the hard bop and post-bop eras with strong melodies and a modern edge, including new material for their next album alongside music from their record “Move”. Their debut album “The Chase” was named by The Times among the Top 10 Jazz Albums of 2017.
