Lino Printing: Single or Multiblock

Lino Printing: Single or Multiblock is a six-week course of Wednesday evening workshops on the art of lino printing, open to beginners as well as those with some experience. Participants learn to create detailed prints using one block or several blocks for printing in two or more colours, carving a key block for the design and additional blocks for colours. The tutor is Louise Anderson, a skilled printmaker passionate about teaching linoprinting techniques and helping students develop their artistic style. Guidance covers designing, transferring an image to lino, safe tool use, sharpening, ink application, paper selection and registration for accurate multicolour prints, with demonstrations and one-to-one support.
