About

An exhibition of drawings, paintings and sculpture by the artist Carmen Herrera, spanning the final decade of her life. Curated by art historian Marie Perennès, it presents her late works not as epilogues but as the vital culmination of an eighty-year enquiry into line, form and colour. Herrera, born in Havana in 1915, was a one-time architect who moved from lyrical abstraction to the hard-edge style of geometric abstraction, achieving widespread recognition in the 2010s.
