Pupils' Preparation Session

Pupils' Preparation Session is an evening preparation session for the Pupils' Advocacy Course, held at the Inn by invitation. It is run by Lincoln's Inn, whose pupils are required by the Bar Standards Board to complete an advocacy training course within their first six months of pupillage. The course covers witness handling, narrative advocacy, case theory, video reviews of performances, and opening and closing speeches, and pupils must attend a preparation session and a residential weekend. Pupils are contacted to sign up once the team has received BSB pupillage confirmation.
