Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day, marks the United Kingdom's yearly remembrance in November of the men and women who gave their lives in the two World Wars and subsequent conflicts. It is a time to come out and pay respects to soldiers living and dead. The Monument invites people to join for a drink and food with friends and former colleagues after paying their respects at the Cenotaph to remember the fallen.
