About
Some Like it Swing is a monthly swing dance night held at Genesis Cinema. Genesis Cinema and SwingdanceUK invite you to a beginners Lindy Hop class taught by Simon, followed by dancing with resident DJ Simon 'Mr Kicks' Selmon and guest DJs playing dance music of the 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond for Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Jive, Shag and Balboa dancers. It offers a chilled atmosphere where you can meet friends, relax, enjoy a drink or a tasty pizza and dance the night away. Pre-booking for the class is recommended.
