The Radical Wedding Engine is a playful theatre piece about marriage, chosen family and artistic partnership. Five East Asian migrant artists from Ensemble Not Found take the wedding apart and put it back together, testing vows, rituals, traditions and expectations. It moves between sincerity and absurdity as they explore ways of caring, committing and belonging while building a ceremony of their own. It was developed through The Yard Theatre's Live Drafts programme and a Making Space residency at Battersea Arts Centre.
