Weekend Enamelling

A one-day beginner workshop in enamelling at an adult education centre in Stratford, where participants prepare metal and create surface decoration for jewellery and sculpture. It is run by Mary Ward Centre and taught by Sally Lees through demonstrations, one-to-one dialogue, group discussion and handouts. Learners use hammer texturing, rolling mills and a pendant drill, with practical work part of the learning. Those with existing jewellery or sculpture experience may develop their own projects, and some materials, tools and equipment are provided.
