About
Welly is a live music show at The Windmill, headlined by the singer-songwriter Welly and his band, with guests also on the bill. His songs chase the perfect punchline on the cheesiest melody, drawing on influences from Blur and Pulp to French chansons and Chicago house. Described as dancey-punky-britpoppy stuff, he has spent the past year playing across England and released a debut album that is ironic, immediate and unashamedly catchy.
