About
A screening of the thriller Borderline (Sienna), followed by a film talk and Q&A with lead actor Šarūnas Zenkevičius. The film is directed by Ignas Jonynas and stars Šarūnas Zenkevičius as Vilius, a 40-year-old ornithologist mourning his wife and raising his daughter Urte alone. After accidentally hitting a group of smugglers, Vilius is lured by high pay into using his car's bird-tracking GPS to track smuggled goods across the border instead of migrating birds—until a smuggler attacks Urte and leaves him in an impossible situation. Borderline won Best Baltic Film at the PÖFF (Tallinn Black Nights) in 2025, and Zenkevičius received the European Shooting Star at Berlinale 2025 and Best Actor at Lithuania's Silver Crane Awards in 2026.
