Fall Ango 2026

Fall Ango 2026 is a three-month fall training intensive that begins with an Ango Entering Ceremony, offered via live stream with opening remarks by Shugen Roshi. Ango is open to those with experience of Zen practice within the MRO, an ongoing daily meditation practice and sesshin attendance, and this season's theme is Buddha Nature, explored through readings, talks and mondos as well as personal and group study. Participants take up the interplay of training gates including zazen, liturgy, moral and ethical teachings, creative expression, the body's aliveness and study of the Dharma, and receive Zoom access for Buddhist study, teachings and art practice along with regular email updates.
