Guided Tours are walking tours through Historic Richmond Town, a historic site of restored buildings from the 17th to 19th centuries on Staten Island. Led by expert Historical Interpreters, the tours include the 1820s Village Life Tour, exploring taverns, trades like basket making and broom making, and an 1820s kitchen, and the Two Centuries Tour, a survey of Staten Island from a 1640s Native Encampment through the Revolutionary era to slavery and emancipation in the 1820s. Each tour lasts 75 minutes and also includes admission to the Historical Museum, open 11am to 4pm on the day of the visit. The tour covers uneven ground and is not recommended for visitors with mobility issues.
