HTBAF: Appetite
Open Source Gallery, 17th Street 306, 11215, Brooklyn
About
HTBAF: Appetite is an evening of live storytelling at Open Source Gallery in Brooklyn, part of the twelfth season of the community series How to Build a Fire. The series was founded by poet Terence Degnan, who each year partners with the gallery to choose hosts; the 2026 season is hosted by Sophia Pazos and Sasha Pincus, with Emilee Lord as showrunner. Under this month's theme, storytellers share real-life personal tales of cravings, lost appetite, or wants they changed their minds about. The featured storytellers are Jaime Weisberg, Tracey Starin, Ronna Levy, and Emilee Lord.
