About

Research 101 Certificate Class is an in-person workshop for students held in Room 311 of the Library Building. It is offered by the Kurt R. Schmeller Library as part of its R101 Certificate Classes in the Fall 2026 term. In the session you learn how to pick and refine a topic, find credible scholarly and non-scholarly information on the web, locate books and articles in QCC databases and OneSearch, and create and format an MLA Works Cited page. Only one session is required, and attendees should arrive early, as latecomers cannot be accommodated.
