About
Stone's Throw is an exhibition of twenty visual artists presented by the Tallichet Freedman Foundation and hosted by Lorimoto Gallery in Ridgewood, Queens. All twenty artists lived or worked in the 11385 ZIP code of Queens at the time of their grant awards, and most continue to do so today. Their work offers a creative portrait of the neighborhood, showcasing sculpture, drawing, painting, photography, performance, and design. The foundation supports visual artists in Ridgewood through unrestricted micro grants, filmed studio interviews, gatherings, exhibitions, and public programming.
