About

Why Design? is an exhibition of K-12 student design work by the Center for Architecture's Learning and Engagement Department. This year it focuses on Justice by Design, an architectural and civic design program for teens hosted by the Queens Public Library in partnership with the Center for Architecture. In the program, students explore urban planning, architecture, and design while reimagining their neighborhood with a focus on equity, justice, and community empowerment.
