About

The exhibition «Zehn Leben – Die Geschichte einer Stadt» is a room installation with an audio guide at the Friedhof Forum. It is a cooperation of Einfach Zürich and Friedhof Forum, with an overall concept by Reto Bühler, Katja Wolf, Maria Tschudi Bebié and Michèle Wannaz and texts by Michèle Wannaz. The last 200 years of Zurich's history are told through the lives of ten people buried at the Friedhof Sihlfeld, ranging from world-famous to lesser-known figures such as Johanna Spyri, Hulda Zumsteg and Mariella Mehr. With the audio guide, visitors hear actor Thomas Sarbacher weaving these ten biographies into a tapestry of history (duration 95 minutes).
