«Auf Kaktus-Safari mit Sara Dorn» is a self-guided experience tour through the Sukkulenten-Sammlung Zürich. It comes from the Verein Ferienplausch programme of the City of Zurich and follows the fictional eleven-year-old gardener's daughter Sara Dorn, whose booklet guides young explorers to seven stations in the South America, North America and large plant greenhouses. There they tackle tasks on water storage, evaporation protection and the usefulness of succulent plants, and touching the plants is allowed. The tour runs for 80 minutes and is meant for children in grades four to six and for young people who can read and write, with or without accompanying adults.
