BIOSPHERE III

BIOSPHERE III is a science fiction play about humanity, our relationship with nature and the question of how far science may go. It is set around a visionary project in which six researchers spend five years living in an artificial biosphere built under a glass dome, testing new forms of life for a future of humankind beyond planet Earth. When an unexpected change throws the harmony within the biosphere off balance, the entire vision is endangered and the ambitious project threatens to fail. Together with the bionauts, the audience explores human ideas of the future between idealism and megalomania.
