Drill Baby Drill

About

"Drill Baby Drill" is a humorously absurd theatre piece at Theater Neumarkt. It was written by Sarah Calörtscher and is directed by Giulia Rumasuglia, performed by Shabnam Chamani, Max Kraus, Till Schaffnit and Hanna Eichel. The piece tells of a post-fossil society where the oil is gone and a geologist descends with a recording device towards the Earth's core, where a burned-out oracle speaks prophecies. The text was awarded the audience prize in 2026 at the Festival PLAY for new theatre texts from Switzerland; the performance lasts 80 minutes.
