About
Glaze-y Day: Discover the Art of Glazing is a hands-on ceramics workshop where participants learn to glaze their own ceramic pieces. It is run by Paint It Easy, which also operates Studio Zürich, where the workshop takes place. A ceramics expert guides attendees through glaze basics, application techniques such as dipping, pouring and brushing, and the firing process. Biscuit-fired pieces can be brought along or three small objects from the studio can be used; the studio handles glazing and firing, with pickup possible about four weeks later.
