HANS IM GLÜCK

HANS IM GLÜCK is a classroom piece for ages 8 and up by the Junge Schauspielhaus, a furious one-man show based on the Grimm classic. Text and direction are by Till Wiebel, who created it as a commissioned work for the Schauspielhaus Zürich. It tells of Hans, who after seven years as an actor at the house quits his job, comes upon gold, and through animal trades and shady encounters draws closer to his personal happiness. The 45-minute piece is a world premiere, performed as an "Ausser Haus" (out of house) show in classrooms.
