Konzert Opera Nova

A concert in the «Opera Nova» series at Opernhaus Zürich in which the audience switches from listening to playing along. The programme features works by Christian Wolff («Stones»), John Cage («4′33″») and Cornelius Cardew («Paragraph 7» from «The Great Learning»), composers who rethought the relationship between performers and audience. No prior knowledge is needed, only open ears, curiosity and simple, self-made sounds. Please bring a few small stones that you can carry yourself.
