Milchball

The Milchball is a queer celebration featuring drag shows and DJ sets, under the motto «Reborn». It is organised by the Milchjugend at Theater Neumarkt. It pays homage to the iconic parties of the gay magazine DER KREIS, which took place there between 1948 and 1960 until the city of Zürich imposed a dancing ban. It celebrates queer history and the resilience of queer culture, with outfit ideas around the phoenix, fire, gold and glitter.
