Out of Service? – Schweizer Sakralarchitektur im Wandel

An exhibition on the transformation of sacred architecture in Switzerland. It is an exhibition by ZAZ BELLERIVE – Zentrum Architektur Zürich, curated by Fabian Ruppanner and Nora Hochuli. Historical and contemporary projects from Switzerland demonstrate the many different paths of transformation that are possible, ranging from removed church pews to demolition. The exhibition asks which ritual and architectural qualities should be preserved and what new uses could find a home in these once-sacred halls.
