Regula Engeler: reenchantment | disintegration
Regula Engeler: An exhibition of uncanny analog photographs.
Kulturbüro Zürich, Kanzleistrasse 202, 8004 Zürich, Aussersihl
About
'Regula Engeler: reenchantment | disintegration' is an exhibition of photographs, with a vernissage on its opening day. Behind it is the photographer Regula Engeler, who works analog and has devoted herself in recent years to experimental, personally shaped processes. The non-human stands at its centre: seemingly idyllic landscapes appear uncanny and skewed on closer look, at times ghostly, marked by false colours and irritating traces of decay. As part of the mentorship programme of the Centre de la Photographie Genève she developed the work with Akosua Viktoria Adu-Sanyah; new pictures from the ongoing process can be seen in the window of the Kulturbüro.
