Stich

«Stich» is a stage piece by Sarah Altenaichinger that weaves the theme of chronic illness together with the world of textile handcraft. It asks what happens when the body falls out of rhythm and lets you down. Between spoken word and delicate narration, the evening explores health and work, pain and care, and how society treats bodies that get tangled up. Direction is by Nina Halpern, with Daniela Dill as text advisor, performed in standard German and dialect.
