Yakamoz

"Yakamoz" is a theatre performance in Swiss German, roughly 45 minutes without an intermission. Ali Kandaş and Onur Kurtulmuş, who both studied acting at the Bern University of the Arts, direct and perform it, with mentorship by Tomas Flachs. The two Zurich-based performers with Turkish migration backgrounds set off on a journey between two – or perhaps no – homelands. The story about finding identity asks micro-questions of the individual rather than delivering answers or solutions at a systemic level.
